ARCHAEOLOGICAL TOURIST DESTINATION IN WEST JAVA


     For some people to know and visit to places of archaeological heritage is very interesting, because in addition to travel, we can get an important lesson about the origins and culture of bygone eras.
West Java has a natural addition to the beautiful scenery, also has places of archaeological sites that you can visit,of which is...:

CIPARI ARCHAELOGICAL PARK.

     Archaelogical park Cipari is a relic of prehistoric sites of ancient human communities that live in the age of megaliths. Megalithic era is characterized by a large stone age culture which produced yhe creation of rock and large. With an area of approximately 700 m, this site has lots of ancient artifacts from the prehistoric megalithic period.



     In the Archaeological Park Cipari there is a museum store tools and goods of the findings of experts when conducting excavations in the region, such as stone axes to help grow crops and farming, stone bracelets as jewelry, kitchen appliances such as pottery,etc,stored in a glass box. There is also a written statement explaining the data on yanv megalithic period is dominated by the tools of stone for yet unfamiliar metal and metal smelting technology, or rarter a perundagian ( paleometalik or bronze-iron ) megalithic tradition that still continues.
Cipari archaeological park is located in the distric Cipari, Kuningan West Java.

PASIR LULUMPANG SITES.

     Pasir lulumpang site is a relic of a megalithic tradition that comes punden-mortar stone mortar, this is one model punden building that had not been found. Stone mortars which complements punden pasir lulumpang  site seems to be the symbolic artifacts in the context of the megalithic religious system, is estimated to have a function in terms of worship organized by supporters communities.




     Pasir lulumpang site is located in the village Cimareme,Banyuresmi district, Garut West Java.

YONI PHALLUS SITE.

     Yoni phallus site is a cultural relic of classical Hindu - Buddhist period, as a symbol of fertility Siva and Durga embodiment, is connected with the worship of the mother goddess.


     The site occupies an area of 52,5 m2. This place is estimated as a place of worship in the classical Hindu - Buddhist past. Relics contained in this website is phallus and yoni.
Yoni phallus site is located in the district Indihiang, Tasikmalaya, West Java.

GUNUNG PADANG MEGALITHIC SITE.

     Megalithic sites in the Padang mountain in the mountains surrounded by nature Cianjur, a relic of prehistoric megalithic sites in the form punden consisting of andesite composition that age has much older than the pyramids Egypt, about 10.000 years BC.




BOJONGMENJE TEMPLE.

     Bojongmenje temple in complex of archaeological sites in the suspect is a pre-Islamic heritage in Western Java.
This temple was built by using the andesitic rocks, ruins of temples found at this site is very simple. This simplicity suggests that the quality of the community`s culture was still lower than the quality of the culture at the time of the construction of Borobudur and Prambanan temples. Moreover, none of the literature on the relationship between the royal temple that once existed in Western Java. However, based on archaeological discoveries on the site Bojongmenje, estimated that the temple was built in the seventh and eighth centuries.


     Bojongmenje temple located in the village Cangkuang, Rancaekek, Bandung.
